Crochet Basics : instructions and video tutorial to make half treble (htr)
Introduction
If we organize crochet basic stitches by an ascending height, first we have chain stitch (the crochet basis), then the almost invisible slip stitch followed by the very short double crochet and then by a stitch a little higher named half treble. Crocheting with halt treble creates a firm fabric with small stripes.

Steps to make half treble – photo-guide
To make a half treble you need to go through five steps:
Step 1 : Placing the yarn over the hook (yoh), in order to have two loops on the hook

Step 2 : Inserting the hook into the next stitch on the chain (or into the part of the work indicated on directions)

Step 3 : Pulling a loop through the chain into the hook, in order to have three loops on the hook

Step 4 : Placing yarn over the hook (yoh) once more

Step 5 : Drawing the yarn through all three loops on the hook
